Welcome to The Cotton Shop!
The Cottton Shop, Inc. began life in 1994 as a small retail shop operating out of a spare room in our home in Moultrie, GA. Because Moultrie is located in the heart of "Big Cotton Country" and our family is intimately involved in cotton ginning, our original charter was to showcase clothing made of 100% cotton. We also wanted to market the highest quality products possible at prices our customers could easily afford. We wanted to give potential customers a strong reason to come to us instead of going to one of the many "mega-stores." That reason: BETTER THAN DISCOUNT PRICES FOR EXCELLENT MERCHANDISE.
As the word got out about what we were doing at The Cotton Shop, the business grew, even without any formal advertising. We began to get customers from all across the southeast, traveling to Moultrie just to shop with us. When we asked why, we always got the same response: "You can't get products of this high quality for prices this low." Encouraged by this, we expanded our product line and moved into a larger space at the cotton gin.
As the number of out of town customers grew, we decided it was time to expand The Cotton Shop to make it more convenient for them and to make our products easily accessible to a much larger market. This is why we are pleased to offer CottonShopInc.com. And though our horizons have expanded, our philosophy has not. We still strive to offer products of the highest possible quality at the lowest possible price. And, unlike some other retail stores, we actually use each type of product before we add it to our line. Therefore, we can personally attest to their high level of quality, durability, functionality, and beauty. We know that if we are not excited about a product, you will not be excited about it either.
Since the inception of The Cotton Shop, Inc, we have sought to put God first in all aspects of the business, as we do in our lives. By being faithful to His word, we know we can offer you, the customer, the best service available. The spiritual, physical, and financial success we have experienced is a direct result of God's provision and blessing. Without Him, we could do nothing.
